A class act

Each year 5or6 Design and Marketing have a vast array of projects and areas of interest, one of those sees them lecture annually at Loughborough University teaching a module on branding and graphic design to final year Ergonomics students in the Design School.

‘We have always had close ties with the University. It is nice for myself and Ryan to be able to go and impart our industry knowledge in the module each year. I think this is our sixth year of teaching it and we always are impressed by the level of output from the module.’ Said Dr Peter Simmons, who gives both lectures and tutorials in the Designing Products for People module.

‘A lot of our work looks at researching current trends and latest design practice so to be able to pass this on to the students in invaluable.’

The students each redesign a product or service within the module and present their work on design boards to the 5or6 team.
